Lucilla, Augusta, 164-182. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 28.05 g, 5 h), Rome, circa 161-162. LVCILLAE AVG ANTONINI AVG F Draped bust of Lucilla to right. Rev. PIETAS / S - C Pietas, veiled, standing front, head to left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar with her right hand and holding incense-box in her left. BMC 1161. Cohen 54. MIR 11-6/a. RIC 1756. A very well centered piece with a beautiful brown and green patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
